Currently Dr. Profis works as a psychologist for the City University of New York, College of Staten Island Counseling Center, where he works with students, supervises other mental health professionals and provides consultation to the staff and administration of the college.

Dr. Profis also continues to maintain a general private practice in Manhattan.
