Dr. Profis received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Boston University.

Dr. Profis has received both his MA and Ph.D. from the Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies, Adelphi University.

Dr. Profis completed his clinical Internship at Columbia - Presbyterian, The University Hospitals of Columbia and Cornell - Columbia Presbyterian Center.
